Nigerian entertainer and activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Area Fada, has said some of the children he adopted have shown him more love than his biological children.
Oputa made this known in a social media post while sharing a photo of his adopted daughter and grandchild.
He questioned the belief that blood relations automatically determine who constitutes a family, saying family is determined more by behaviour.
He wrote, “One of the Biggest lie told is dat Blood makes you Family. Family is determined more by behavior than family.”
Describing the woman in the photograph as his adopted daughter and the child as his grandchild, Oputa said he had taken in many people as his children.
He added that some of them had shown him more love than his biological children.
“I have many that I have taken in as my children and some have shown me more Love than my biological children,” he said.
Oputa expressed gratitude to God for the blessings in his life, saying he would never take them for granted.
