The reinstated Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, on Tuesday presided over the first plenary sitting following his return to office.
The session also marked the debut of Mr. Taiwo Otun as the new Clerk of the House.
After a prolonged recess, the Assembly reconvened with minimal attendance, as many observers — including members of the media — were unaware of the sitting.
The only item on the order paper was the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy Bill 2025, which was considered for its third reading.
