Osemudiamen Idemudia, a 26-year-old man, was declared missing on Friday, May 9, 2025, after he left his workplace in Ikota, Lagos. He was last seen around the CMS area while reportedly heading home to Igando but never made it back. Efforts to reach him via phone were unsuccessful, raising concerns about his whereabouts.
Distressed family members launched a search, visiting hospitals and morgues across Lagos State. Their worst fears were confirmed when his body was discovered at a morgue in Yaba, bearing deep machete wounds to the head, face, and legs.
According to morgue staff, the body was brought in by the police. However, they did not disclose the location or circumstances under which the body was recovered.
The family is now demanding answers as investigations continue into the tragic death.
