The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has diverted vehicular movement following the fall of a tanker loaded with diesel on the Liverpool Bridge inward Mile 2.

The incident, which occurred earlier today, left the tanker lying across the bridge, with diesel spilling onto the roadway due to damage to the tank.

The spill poses a serious safety risk to motorists and other road users.
Men of the Nigerian Police Force from Area B, alongside other relevant safety and emergency agencies, have been promptly notified and are responding to the situation to secure the area and prevent further hazards.

As part of precautionary measures, traffic has been diverted to the opposite side of the bridge to ensure public safety and allow emergency responders to manage the incident effectively.

Motorists are advised to exercise patience and strictly comply with all directives from LASTMA officials and other traffic managers on ground as efforts continue to contain the spill and restore normal traffic flow.
