Kwankwaso meets with Aregbesola, Kano ADC leaders
Rauf Aregbesola, national secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), met with Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano, in Abuja.
Speculations have been rife that the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) national leader is considering joining the ADC as part of a broader political realignment ahead of the 2027 general election.
Reports indicate that Kwankwaso has been eyeing a proposed alliance with Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra, for a joint 2027 presidential ticket.
