Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has confirmed that eight people lost their lives in the fire incident that gutted the Great Nigeria Insurance (GNI) building on December 24, describing the tragedy as a painful reminder of the dangers posed by unsafe practices around markets.
